Girls Tech Day

Work alongside other girls to explore technology in creative projects! First, learn about 3D design and create your own area in a virtual world using Rooms.xyz. Add people, animations, interactive objects, and connections to other students’ creations. Then get hands-on with Micro:bit and Maqueen robots, and learn to drive them around and sense objects. For those who have attended a Girls in Tech Day previously at Matamoe, there will be new things to learn and explore, so come along again and invite your friends!

Our intention with this programme is to provide a different learning environment to those who would normally be a gender minority in our classes.
